ASU, ADOT partner on weather

A new partnership with ASU and ADOT will provide locals with real-time weather updates for traffic flow and infrastructure safety. Public-private partnership to build South Mountain Freeway in Arizona

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) developed a public-private partnership to construct the new Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway, which crews will start to build the summer of 2016. Closures scheduled for Loop 101

The ADOT has scheduled closures for Loop 101, which is also called Pima Freeway, Sunday and Monday while crews work on Black Mountain Boulevard bridge. The closures will occur in the East Valley and begin at 9 p.m. on Dec. 13 and end at 5 a.m. Monday. Night work performed on SR 89 Hell Canyon bridge

Crews working with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) conducted work on the bridge replacement project for Hell Canyon bridge, located on State Route 89, Thursday. The work first began at 7 p.m. and ended on schedule at 7 a.m. Friday. The night work required that drivers follow reroutes for a new, temporary detour that ran alongside the current highway. Arizona's westbound I-10 undergoing paving

Crews with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will continue paving westbound Interstate 10, from Benson to Tucson, until next week. The construction zone extends from a mile eastward from Exit 299 for Skyline Road to a mile eastward of Exit 291 for Marsh Station Road. Lane closures scheduled to December for SR 347 in Pinal County

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be working on sidewalk construction and will need to close State Route 238 and Cobblestone Farms Drive in Pinal County. I-8 road work planned to summer

The Arizona Department of Transportation has scheduled road work for Interstate 8, located in Pinal County, through December. Each day, I-8 will be restricted to a single lane, beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. The crews will not conduct their work over the holiday weekend, from Nov. 26 to Nov. 29. I-10 paving work extends to SR 83

Crews with the Arizona Department of Transportation began extending paving from westbound Interstate 10 to State Route 83. These paving operations are mostly based east of Tucson. ADOT paves westbound I-10

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is paving the westbound lanes of I-10 in Tucson Wednesday thru Friday. Crash data to go online in Arizona

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) recently received grants from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to optimize the collection of crash data throughout the state. The grants, which amount to $508,600 for the 2015 fiscal year and $106,000 for the 2016 federal fiscal year, will improve crash data by putting the information onto online databases. Read More »
