I-65 lane restrictions from Greenwood to Franklin in Indiana

Crews with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) need to restrict lanes overnight along Interstate 65 between Greenwood and Franklin in order to complete pavement patching. New U.S. 31 Hamilton county freeway opens in Indiana

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence celebrated the opening of the new U.S. 31 Hamilton County freeway Monday with Congresswoman Susan Brooks and INDOT Commissioner Brandye Hendrickson. INDOT started the freeway project in 2011 near State Road 38. The $350 million project includes an upgraded 13 miles of highway, 49 new bridges and 12 new interchanges through Westfield and Carmel. I-65 traffic patterns return to normal in Greenwood, Edinburgh

Traffic patterns on Interstate 65 will return to normal within the construction zones in Greenwood and Edinburgh, Ind. Northbound traffic can now use the northbound lanes on I-65. The two construction zones will be removed so that people can travel normally throughout the winter months. Crews installed additional travel lanes between Main Street/Greenwood and State Road 44.
