OMVS seeks partner to develop trucking software

On the Move Systems (OMVS) said Monday that it is searching for a partner to assist in developing on-demand software for trucking.

The purpose of the software is to connect logistics inventory, business applications and end customers via OMVS to simplify the process of requesting personal, local freight carriers.

The new software, which will be added to the company’s ISTx platform, will streamline the company. The billion-dollar trucking industry would vastly benefit from the efficiency and connections of the software.

OMVS is the original on-demand freight platform. The company broadens the accessibility of the benefits of freight transportation, like interstate shipping methods, synchronized freight supply chains and fast deliveries. Streamlining 3 million trucks would help the company provide better services.

“Its Uber for commercial transport,” OMVS CEO Robert Wilson said. “Our focus is in response to our culture’s popular sharing economy, much like Uber and Airbnb. We’re anticipating our user’s needs by broadening their choices in freight. Adding the on-demand platform to our ISTx platform will revolutionize the trucking industry by increasing the number of perfect nearby carriers for their load. Cutting costs for shipping is an enormous economic benefit to suppliers.”
