HighJump releases new transportation management system

HighJump released a new transportation management system (TMS) on Monday, which aims to improve service to shipping and warehouse operations.

The system, HighJump TMS, features multiple modules and applications that can serve various industries. The company states that this system is able to meet distribution needs with an interface that is accessible with most internet browsers.

"Today's TMS solution needs to be agile and easily adapt to changes in the transportation marketplace," Ross Elliott, chief strategy officer for HighJump, said. "As more and more companies look for better ways to make delivery a competitive differentiator, they will be relying on a solution and company that will grow and adapt with them. HighJump TMS, in tandem with other HighJump applications, allows any company to compete effectively in the transportation marketplace, not only today, but also in the future."

The TMS offers tools needed for carriers, shippers and brokers, including order management, rating, invoicing, routing and load assigning, payroll and auditing, safety and compliance, and load tendering. Clients may also use its other features, which include business-centric dashboards and imaging.

HighJump specializes in the development of management software in supply chain applications. According to the announcement, they have over 14,000 clients in 77 countries around the globe able to handle numerous business capabilities.
