The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA) Leadership Circle has welcomed five new members to its organization: AAA, General Motors, the Michigan Mobility Transformation Center, the New York City Department of Transportation, and Parkmobile.

ITSA interim President and CEO Thomas Kern made the announcement Wednesday.

“These companies and organizations represent the very best in transportation innovation and ingenuity," Kern said.

ITSA connects transportation and technology companies from the public, private and academic sectors to enhance the nation's transportation systems.

"Technology is helping revolutionize mobility and is central to advancing a safer, smarter, more efficient and sustainable transportation future," Kern said. "We are thrilled to bring these transportation leaders and innovators to the table to help find solutions to some of the key challenges facing our nation’s transportation system."
