U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-SD) will convene a hearing of the full
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation on Tuesday titled "Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization."
The hearing will look at key aviation funding and other issues within the larger and wider Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization.
Later hearings will examine manufacturing competitiveness and certification, airport and infrastructure financing, safety and general aviation matters, and air traffic control modernization and reform.
Tuesday's hearing will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Russell Senate Office Building, Room 253.
FAA Administrator Michael Huerta is to appear at the hearing.
