Southeastern Freight Lines said Monday that it has named 30-year transportation industry veteran Kim Shore to be regional vice president of operations for the company’s Region II territory, responsible for facilities in North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky and eastern Tennessee.
Shore has served in various roles for Southeastern, including frontline supervisor, office manager and operations manager. Most recently, he was service center manager in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Southeastern’s Service Center Operations Regional Vice President Coley Campbell said Shore has done an excellent job leading operations in Charlotte, demonstrating a commitment to living the company’s culture, providing quality and ensuring Southeastern remains financially strong.
“Shore has also done an outstanding job of developing and deploying leaders throughout our system, and we are confident he will continue to be a valued asset in his new role,” Campbell said.
