Neology unveils hybrid, dual frequency transportation card

Neology, a provider of secure high-value Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions as well as a subsidiary of RFID industry pacesetter SMARTRAC, recently launched its novel Hybrid Dual Frequency UHF & NFC Card.

This new card is the latest addition to the Neology UrbanPass product portfolio. The card complies with all the necessary standards, including ISO14443, ISO18000-6C and ID-1 Format dimensions, as it is the size of a bank card. The Hybrid Dual Frequency Card is designed for high performance with all electronic toll collection as well as public transportation applications.

The Hybrid Card will offer more convenience for passengers on trains, bus lines, ferries and subways that already accept contactless proximity cards. The card can be easily mounted onto a vehicle’s windshield for toll roads via its clear, polycarbonate LEXAN holder.
