Art Hadnett, the well-known infrastructure expert, has been chosen as the new senior vice president and president of West Division of HNTB Corporation.
Hadnett is a transportation professional who has long-term ties to California. His experience includes OCTA, LA Metro, SCRRA, LAWA and more. He has over 30 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure industry. Many of his projects have been high-profile megaprojects located within the West as well as the rest of the U.S.
Hadnett’s new responsibilities include supervising important and complicated infrastructure programs within growth markets. These include tolling, rail, transit and aviation.
Hadnett will now lead 10 offices and over 400 employees within the nine-state division’s operations. He will supervise strategic operation and planning, recruit top talent, represent HNTB at various associations and improve relations between thought leaders and clients. His main base will be Los Angeles, California.
“Art Hadnett is an accomplished and well-respected leader in our industry,” HNTB CEO Rob Slimp said. “He has been personally involved in project planning and management throughout the West, and has been at the forefront of thought leadership and policymaking, particularly in California where he holds leadership positions in several forward-thinking industry groups.”
