Nathaniel P. Ford Sr., the CEO of Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), was recently named among the Ultimate CEOs for 2015 in Northeast Florida in a ranking conducted by the Jacksonville Business Journal that includes Ford alongside five other individuals.
All of these leaders were in the medium-size company category.
This prestigious award honors Ford’s ongoing high level of leadership, commitment to making a difference in the smaller business community as well as the community at large and dedication to setting a standard for local executives.
Ford was first hired at JTA in Dec. 2012. This award serves to recognize his achievements since that time as well as during his 30-year career within the public transportation industry. Since Ford has joined the JTA team, the company has established its reputation as a leading organization within the transportation industry.
On Sep. 24, 2015, Ford will attend the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Ultimate CEO Awards luncheon to accept his award.
“I am honored and grateful to be recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal with this prestigious award,” Ford said. “However, this award belongs to the entire JTA team of professionals that I have the honor of working with. I want to thank the JTA board of directors, our staff and our customers.”
