Pennsylvania residents who want more information about construction projects and improvements that are underway can access the new Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) website, which includes outlines of various projects.
All projects scheduled through 2026 are included on the new site, as mandated by Act 89, which is the funding plan for Pennsylvania.
The new website includes projects that are finished, underway, planned or in development. It also include construction projects that will be bid for in 2015. The website has projects that are listed within PennDOT’s Four-Year and 12-Year plans.
The website, called the Transportation Projects site, shows the breadth of the state’s improvements. Readers can now look at projects as arranged by the state itself, the county, the specific PennDOT district, and more.
“Part of ensuring that PennDOT works for our customers is making sure they can find information on our investments in their communities,”
PennDOT Secretary
Leslie Richards said. “This website shows the magnitude of the amount and value of current work and well into the future.”
