Andy Marsh, CEO of New York-based hydrogen fuel-cell technology provider Plug Power Inc., gave a presentation on the company's hydrogen fuel cell and other products Monday at the New Energy Vehicle International Forum 2016 this week in Shanghai, China.
“Plug Power sees growth avenues resulting from our success in material handling,” Marsh said. “Markets like automotive, airport tractors and ground-support equipment, fueling and data provide expansion paths for Plug Power geographically and horizontally with our proven technologies.”
This is the New Energy Vehicle International Forum's sixth year. It is a venue for representatives from vehicle manufacturing corporations, electric-power companies, battery manufacturers and core technology companies to network with government officials to develop new industry programs and strategies.
To date, more than 10,000 of Plug Power's GenDrive fuel cells are in use by material-handling customers, often used in power electric lift truck vehicles.
