Lake County Division of Transportation issued the following announcement on June 11.
The Union Pacific Railroad informed the Lake County Division of Transportation of it closing the railroad crossing on Wadsworth Road, east of Delany Road, for emergency repairs. The closure of the crossing will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17 and is scheduled to reopen by 5 p.m.
Detour Route: The signed detour route for this road closure will be Delany Road, to York House Road, to IL 131 (Green Bay Road).
Local traffic will be allowed on Wadsworth Road, from Delany Road to the railroad crossing and from IL 131 (Green Bay Road) to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
