Georgia Department of Transportation issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
WHAT: Weather permitting, one eastbound lane of I-20 will be closed between exits 11 and 19 for construction every night next week. Crews will close one lane at a time as needed along the route beginning Monday night.
WHEN: Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14 from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
WHERE: Interstate 20 eastbound between exits 11 and 19
Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
