The American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) honored some of its industry leaders and professionals this week during TMC’s 2016 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition
in Nashville.

The recipients include Richard Winters, a fleet manager from Verizon Fleet Operations in New Freedom, Pennsylvania, who received the Peggy Fisher Study Group Leadership Award.

Jason Gagnon, a shop manager at Transport America in North Jackson, Ohio, received the Excellence in Maintenance Award.

Alex Knight, a market-segmentation manager at Class C Solutions Group in Independence, Ohio, received the Study Group Secretary Award.

Rob Nissen, national service manager at SAF-Holland USA in Muskegon, Michigan, received the Recognized Associates Award. The same award also went to Anita Byrne, a national sales manager at Mobile InnerSpace in Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Todd Cross, a sales manager at Delco Remy in Pendleton, Indiana.

“For 60 years, TMC has worked to set and improve the standards for commercial vehicle maintenance and equipment, and these individuals exemplify that in their work every day,” Carl Kirk, ATA’s vice president of maintenance, information technology & logistics and TMC’s executive director, said. “Congratulations to them and to all our hard-working TMC members who are setting the bar for our industry.”
