ContainerPort receives Evergreen’s Container Yard of the Year Award

Cleveland-based ContainerPort Group (CPG) said Friday it received the Container Yard of the Year Award from Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corp. for its efforts during the past year.

Evergreen President Roy Amalfitano said his company emphasizes high-quality service and its goal is to satisfy customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations and to keep them competitive in global trade.
“We depend on CPG to play a significant role in helping us to achieve this goal,” Amalfitano said.

CPG Senior Vice President-Commercial Jim Kramer said the award is an honor.

“We look to increase our world-class offerings with our valued partner, Evergreen, throughout our strategic best-in-class network,” Kramer said.

Evergreen is the North America general agent for three leading ocean carriers – Evergreen Marine, Italia Marittima and Hatsu Marine
