Con-way Inc. recently announced that it has chosen Joe Dagnese as the new president for Con-way Freight, which is the company’s national and regional less-than truckload (LTL) subsidiary as well as its largest operating unit.
Dagnese has served in the logistics and transportation industry for 32 years. He previously
was president at Con-way Truckload.
Dagnese attended Indiana University for his business and transportation bachelor’s degree. For 14 years he worked at The Procter & Gamble Company. His career with Con-way started in 1995, which is when he began to work in the global logistics and supply chain management unit in Menlo Logistics. Previously, he worked at Menlo’s International operations as vice president and Menlo’s Automotive and Government Services, and Consumer, Retail and Industrial groups.
W. Gregory Lehmkuhl, the previous president of Con-way Freight, resigned to become chief executive officer of a
private company, so Dagnese has assumed his new position right away.
