Georgia Department of Transportation issued the following announcement on July 8.
The ongoing intersection reconstruction for GA 257 @ Pinehill Road is tracking along nicely. Plans are to shift traffic into a roundabout configuration to allow further construction progress. This skewed intersection will be made safer and more efficient with the roundabout design. This location is a short distance from I-16 Exit 49.
