Heartland Express, Inc. recently received two prestigious awards – Logistics Management Magazine’s Quest for Quality Award and the CIO 100 Award from IDG’s CIO magazine.

This is the 12th time that Heartland Express has received the Quest for Quality Award in the Dry Freight Carrier class. To determine the best of the best, Logistics Management’s readers vote on carriers’ service quality based on: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations.

The 28th annual CIO 100 Award recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology.  Heartland was recognized for its efforts to strategically embrace technology and process innovation to provide great service to customers, and create a successful work environment for driver and non-driver employees.

Heartland Express is an irregular route truckload carrier based in North Liberty, Iowa serving customers with shipping lanes throughout the United States. The company focuses on medium to short-haul regional freight, offering shippers industry-leading on-time service so they can achieve their strategic goals for their customers.

Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials announced that independent credit agencies, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) and Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s), affirmed the bi-state agency’s bond ratings of ‘A’ and ‘A1’ respectively on both the DRBA’s long-term underlying rating (SPUR) on revenue bonds outstanding and the proposed $180 million Series 2019 Revenue Bonds.
