The Idaho Transportation Board released the agenda late last week for its Thursday meeting, during which it will discuss a fiscal 2017 appropriations request, alternative transportation projects and winter operational systems.

The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Idaho Department of Transportation’s headquarters, 3311 W. State Street in Boise.

The board also will elect a new vice chairman and review subcommittee assignments.

Under the consent agenda, the board is expected to add S. Canal Bridge (on 300 N. 95 E) to the department’s Off-System Bridge Program, consider changes to the Public Transit Program and add properties to the Federal Lands Access Program.

After Thursday’s meeting, the next meeting will be held March 23-24 in Boise.
