IHS Inc. opened its new website that is specially designed to serve the worldwide maritime industry to the public on Wednesday.

The website, fairplay.ihs.com, aims to be the top resource for important analysis and news about the worldwide maritime industry.

The new website replaces www.ihsmaritime360.com and gives readers in-depth, daily, analytical editorial content specifically about the maritime industry.

The website is part of IHS Maritime & Trade’s latest effort in creating its Fairplay brand. The company’s goal is to provide consumers with the best intelligence that will give them daily information about the always-changing industry of shipping.

IHS Maritime Fairplay magazine, which has been established for over 130 years, has helped its consumers make wise decisions in their industry. The magazine includes information that ranges from long-term financial investments to daily operations.

“To ensure we provide customers with the strongest business-critical analysis in the marketplace, we’re making significant investments in our global editorial team with the goal of focusing on specific areas of subject matter specialization,” IHS Maritime & Trade Vice President

Stuart Strachan  said. “Our editors are pursuing the most relevant news stories based on their expertise in the market, access to senior industry leaders, and an emphasis on the highest standards of editorial quality.”
