INDOT to hold meetings on 2017-19 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold public meetings this month to address the Federal Fiscal Year 2017-2019 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal.

During these meetings, the DBE Methodology Report will be discussed, and INDOT will take public comments and questions. The DBE goal for this period has been proposed at 10.9 percent of federal-aid highway construction projects.

Meetings will take place 10 a.m. to noon June 13 at Ivy Tech Community College, 1440 E. 35th Ave., in Gary; 3:30-5:30 p.m. June 14 at the Evansville Central Library, 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in Evansville; and 1-3 p.m. June 15 at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 East Washington St., in Indianapolis.

Those who require visual or auditory accommodations should contact officials prior to the meeting. Translation of documents or other materials may also be requested for those who have Limited English Proficiency.
