Menlo promotes longtime employee to director position

Menlo Logistics announced Monday that Nick Caragher had been promoted to the position of senior director of Transportation Strategy and Services.

Menlo is a supply chain management subsidiary of Con-Way, Inc, and does about $1.7 billion worth of logistic services around the globe every year. Caragher will lead the overall transportation management solutions strategy for the company. He will focus on managing and designing an overall approach to transportation solutions. Caragher will also direct and review how the company uses engineering tools and how it utilizes the transportation systems.

“In the constantly evolving transportation industry, Menlo is dedicated to investing its efforts and talents in ensuring the best possible transportation solutions for our customers’ needs,” Gary Kowalski, COO for Menlo Logistics, said. “Nick is a proven expert in supply chain management and is perfectly suited to take on this leadership role and support the company’s growth in this area.”

Caragher joined Menlo in 2011 as a logistics engineer. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management. Menlo, a third-party logistics provider, operates on five continents and is based in San Francisco, California. Its services range from warehouse, distribution and transportation management to dedicated contract logistics.
