The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) picked new leaders and members for its board of directors at its annual membership meeting last week.

Andy Priester, president and CEO of Priester Aviation based in Wheeling, Illinois, was elected as the new board chairman. The new vice-chair is Marty Hiller, who owns Marathon Jet Center in Marathon, Florida.

New board members include Scott Owens, senior vice president of McClellan Jet Services in McClellan, California; and Jeff Ross, president and CEO of Ross Aviation in Denver, Colorado.

“The NATA board of directors comprises the finest leaders representing all areas of general aviation,” Thomas L. Hendricks, NATA president and CEO, said. “The association will benefit tremendously from the vast experience of Andy, Marty, Scott and Jeff. We appreciate their support and commitment to advancing safety and prosperity in the aviation business community by joining the NATA board of directors.”

NATA is considered the voice of the aviation business industry. It is a public policy group that represents the aviation industry’s business in dealings with federal agencies as well as Congress.
