Reading and Northern Railroad names Thomas Cook vice president of transportation and safety

The Reading and Northern Railroad recently announced that it has named Thomas Cook as the company’s new Vice President of Transportation and Safety. In 1984, Cook earned his BA in Business Administration from Gettysburg College. Cook’s previous experience with leadership and operations is marked by a zeal of developing engineers and employees while making safety a top priority. In January 2015, Cook retired from CSX Transportation and Conrail, where he worked for 30 years.
