The Phoenix is just around the corner from the main drag of Chinatown, across the street from Chinatown Square. The inside is like a hotel dining room, gleaming with brass fixtures and white linen. It’s evident from the decor that the Phoenix specializes in catering parties in the restaurant–one of the two dining rooms even has a small dance floor. Private-party givers may choose from among several different banquet menus. This is one of the best places in Chinatown for dim sum, which makes a great twist for weekend brunch.
