Huntersville, N.C., mayor calls for transportation funding ‘vision’

Huntersville, North Carolina, Mayor Jill Swain said Congress needs to develop a comprehensive vision to address the funding shortfall in the Highway Trust Fund. Huntersville has been named one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation, with a population that has grown to 52,000 from 3,500 over the last 22 years.
