Stanley Consultants recently expanded its services in Florida by adding to its transportation planning staff.

Stanley Consultants chose to increase their staff to fulfill a rise in transportation planning studies as well as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)/Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies.

The company’s new team members include Joe DeFronzo as a senior transportation engineer and Linda Ferreira as engineer-in-training. They will be located at the company’s office in West Palm Beach, Florida, in the company’s Transportation and Traffic Planning Department.

DeFronzo has more than 25 years of experience in transportation engineering as well as project management. He is a licensed professional engineer in both Nevada as well as Florida. His expertise includes corridor studies, PD&E studies, traffic calming, traffic impact studies and complete streets projects.

Ferreira first started working with Stanley Consultants in 2010 as a student intern. She attended Florida Atlantic University for her bachelors as well as her masters degrees, both of which were in civil engineering. She has three years of experience with engineering. After taking a self-guided hike around the world for 18 months, she has returned to the company and expanded her expertise to traffic/safety studies, highway design, environmental contamination reviews, PD&E studies and scour analysis.

Stanley Consultants, a worldwide consulting engineering firm, has its Florida offices located in Tampa, West Palm Beach, Miami and Sarasota.
