Stephenson recognized for industry excellence

Charmaine Stephenson, the director of Truckmasters Global Truck Recyclers Party Ltd., was recently honored for her excellence in the transportation industry.

Stephenson was chosen as a CIP member of Worldwide Banking, which is a special honor dedicated only to those who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to achieving professional and personal success.

Stephenson has more than 20 years of professional experience, proving to be a successful woman in an industry that is dominated by men. Her skills include logistics, transportation, client retention, recruiting, budgeting and management. She uses these skills on a daily basis as the director of Truckmasters Global Truck Recyclers, which is dedicated to importing and exporting heavy transport vehicles, plant equipment and used spares. In her position, Stephenson supervises the company’s daily operations and strategic planning as well as all of the payments and finances.

Originally from South Africa, she worked and lived for 15 years in Australia. Two years ago, she returned to South Africa, where she founded Truckmasters Global Truck Recyclers.

Stephenson explains that her success is because of her ability to promote communication between her team and her clients, her approach to business, and her skill for giving clients satisfying results.
She hopes to grow her business by 400 percent.

Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials announced that independent credit agencies, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) and Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s), affirmed the bi-state agency’s bond ratings of ‘A’ and ‘A1’ respectively on both the DRBA’s long-term underlying rating (SPUR) on revenue bonds outstanding and the proposed $180 million Series 2019 Revenue Bonds.
