Texas railroad commissioner to speak at annual pipe tech summit

The sixth annual Pipe Tech Americas Summit on Tuesday announced that Texas Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton will be deliver the opening keynote address at this year’s summit.

The summit will bring together key industry experts to share their strategies for improving safety and examine how to react to the emerging regulatory landscape. Sitton’s address will focus on global market supply and demand data, strategic policy changes that can be implemented to strengthen Texas production, and implications for oil prices.

The summit will also feature two days of expert-led presentations, an innovation catwalk, a technology showcase, roundtable sessions and industry focused debates. All events will be led my representative form Spectra Energy, TransCanada, Suncor Logistics, Schneider Electric, Rosen and more similar companies.

The summit, designed as a solutions hub for operators, will provide solutions and strategies for understating the effects of Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Administration-led IVP protocol; managing opposition to projects and accelerating the permitting process at the federal and state level; understanding how to reduce costs and complete jobs faster and more efficiently; identifying new inspection technologies within smart pig technology, integrity monitoring, non-piggable solutions and in-line inspection; streamlining new pipeline construction data management with GIS-based solutions; and engaging with the public to earn and maintain social license.

Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials announced that independent credit agencies, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) and Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s), affirmed the bi-state agency’s bond ratings of ‘A’ and ‘A1’ respectively on both the DRBA’s long-term underlying rating (SPUR) on revenue bonds outstanding and the proposed $180 million Series 2019 Revenue Bonds.
