Enterprise Logistics provider Transportation Insight recently celebrated several milestones, including its 15-year anniversary.

The company is currently moving forward toward its Vision 20/20 strategic growth plan. Additionally, the company’s revenue recently exceeded $1 billion for the first time in its history, and Paul Thompson, the company’s founder and chairman, was chosen as Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Southeast Program.

“This is the most significant time that we’ve ever seen in the history of our company, and it’s all happening because of you,” Thompson said Saturday at a dedication event for the company’s new headquarters in Hickory, North Carolina. “This beautiful campus is the result of your tireless work and dedication to making Transportation Insight the company it is today.”

“Under Paul’s leadership, our company has developed a deep bench with a passion for seeing our clients and our company succeed,” Chris Baltz, president and CEO of Transportation Insight, said. “It is an honor to be a part of a group that is unmatched in our industry in terms of its expertise, vision, innovation and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure complete client satisfaction. It is so exciting to reflect back on how an idea and a dream 15 years ago have been realized, as we’ve become a global logistics leader delivering best-in-class services to clients in all transportation modes. Our company remains laser-focused on solving clients’ supply-chain challenges today and positioning them for growth and competitive advantage for today and tomorrow.”

“No entrepreneur wins an award because of what we do as individuals, but because of the team of people working with us to accomplish goals far beyond even what we as entrepreneurs thought possible. That is absolutely the case at Transportation Insight,” Thompson said. “I didn’t win this award — our associates did. We are the leading services company in the Southeast because of our people. They have worked tirelessly every day to exceed client expectations, and as a result, we have become the North American leader in value-based Enterprise Logistics.”
