Union Pacific Railroad said Wednesday it was selected one of the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles for 2015

by The National Business Group on Health.

The award recognized Union Pacific at the gold level for making environmental and cultural changes as well as creating comprehensive programs in support of their employees achieving healthy lifestyle goals.

Union Pacific was the only railroad company among the 64 U.S. employers that received the award this year. This is the 11th year that

Union Pacific
has earned the award.

Union Pacific’s wellness programs assess and offer intervention support for various health risk factors such as blood pressure, asthma, depression, cholesterol, fatigue, diabetes, nutrition, inactivity, stress, weight, and smoking.

Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials announced that independent credit agencies, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) and Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s), affirmed the bi-state agency’s bond ratings of ‘A’ and ‘A1’ respectively on both the DRBA’s long-term underlying rating (SPUR) on revenue bonds outstanding and the proposed $180 million Series 2019 Revenue Bonds.
