FMCSA demands J and J Transportation shutdown

Leaders at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), recently ordered the J and J Transportation trucking company, also called John A. Robles (USDOT No. 2497430), be shut down. FMCSA has declared that the company is an imminent hazard to the safety of the public. I-65 lane restrictions from Greenwood to Franklin in Indiana

Crews with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) need to restrict lanes overnight along Interstate 65 between Greenwood and Franklin in order to complete pavement patching. These plans will continue as long as the weather allows. All of the restrictions will start at 9 p.m. and then finish at 6 a.m. The restrictions will begin on March 21. Read More »

January on-time performance increases over December

The Air Travel Consumer Report from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) shows that there has been an overall increase in on-time performance for January 2016 compared to December 2015 and January 2015. January 2016 on-time performance stood at 81.3 percent. For January 2015, the rate was 76.8 percent, and for December 2015, the rate was 77.8 percent. Read More »
