Wisconsin airport to upgrade two runways, expand terminal

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker recently authorized nearly $1 million to expand the terminal building and rehabilitate two runways at Batten International Airport in Racine. Gayle Stearn, airport development engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the expanded terminal will include the addition of a General Aviation Facility (GAF) for customs agents to inspect international passengers, cargo and crew. Massachusetts governor signs $200 million infrastructure bill

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker signed House Bill 3187 on Thursday, approving an additional $200 million in Chapter 90 funding for municipalities' infrastructure needs.
