House panel seeks ideas to boost commercial vehicle safety

The House Subcommittee on Highways and Transit said on Friday that it will hold a hearing to learn about motor-carrier innovations and technology that increase safety to reduce injuries and deaths, and prevent accidents involving trucks and buses.  The subcommittee, whose chairman is U.S. Rep.
